Escorting and Driving:
Driving and/or accompanying the client to the physician when necessary. Escorting to religious and social functions or activities.
Providing socialization, friendship, and support for the client.
Shopping and performing other household errands.

Personal Care and Grooming Needs:
Reminding client to take medications and document all medication taken.
Providing hygiene assistance including help with bathing and grooming.
Supervising ambulation and helping to prevent falls.
Toileting and diapering.

Light Housekeeping:
Taking care of all personal laundry and bed linens for the client.
Cleaning the bathroom and kitchen after use, including dishes and mopping.
Making up the client’s bed and replacing with clean linens.
Cleaning the client’s bedroom, including dusting and vacuuming.
Trash removal.

Meal Preparation and Diet Planning:
Preparing and serving meals according to the client’s dietary needs.

Recreation, Activities and Companionship:
Helping with correspondence to family and friends.
Going on walks and encouraging and participating in stimulating activities.
Reading
Discussions, playing cards, listening to client’s favorite music, watching favorite movies and board games.
Writing letters that the client dictates.

Business Assistance:
Providing respite for the family caregivers.
Watering of plants.
Helping to care for pets (this may be an additional charge depending on duties).
Schedule appointments and reminding to keep them.
Keep mail organized and help the client sort, read and respond.
